An original 1954 Soap Box Derby car has found its home here at Walpole Photography. The first official Soap Box Derby was held in 1933 in Dayton, Ohio. The original prize for winning a Soap Box Derby was college scholarship money. Although the sport has decreased in popularity in recent years, Soap Box Derby cars remain as American icons. This antique is a piece of American history and inspires us daily here in the studio!
You can see the car in the Personal photo slideshow on the homepage.
